The creative workshop "Russian Kaleidoscope" is the only one in Russia that produces kaleidoscopes according to all the rules determined by Sir Bruster.
The basis of the kaleidoscope is the aluminum tube covered with the lacquered birch bark with toreutic pattern. A special glass construction is inserted in the tube, from one side of the kaleidoscope there is a glass “eye” and from the other — visual object.
The glasses are prepared according to the ancient technology of glass polishing and with the use of a special amalgam covering (the composition of this amalgam is the know-how). A modern glass carving technology is applied as the smooth surface of the glass is very important. All the details are hand made involving only natural materials: birch bark, brass, organic glass.
The covering of the kaleidoscope is decorated with semiprecious stones: chrysolite, jasper, amber, garnet, agate, and chalcedony. The set includes a plinth for the kaleidoscope made of lacquered birch bark.
